CCFA Mission Statement

T he mission of the CCFA is to produce and deliver the annual Carifiesta parade and its related activities. Its plans are to educate the public about a particular facet of Caribbean culture and foster fellowship amongst the various community groups in its target markets. The Carifiesta parade is a colourful display of artistic expression. The Carifiesta parade is about cultural inclusiveness showcasing the talent of the Caribbean community and its multicultural nature.

O n Saturday, July 9, 2011, for its 36th edition, the Carifiesta’s immensely colourful parade will take over the streets of the Montreal downtown area. More than 250,000 people are expected to attend this annual carnival which gathers people of all origins in the expression of the joy and light heartedness associated to the Caribbean people.
